Slednecking

Saturday was the 'Snow King Hillclimb' which is an uphill snowmobile slalom race that attracts snowmobilers from around the country to Jackson, WY. It was definitely a new sub-culture for me- it sure was great people watching and fun to see the sledders blast up the ski slope.

'Hill Help' stationed on the slope to catch snowmobiles that don't make it.

We had a great bird's eye view from the chair lift.

A mini- snowmobile course at the Fairgrounds.

Arctic Cat and Polaris jackets abound.

Nick and Anna channel Lee Greenwood.

Jackson from the top of Snow King-ready to go down?

Did they get this idea from watching the cars try to climb the Xerxes Ave. hill in Bryn Mawr?
